Foraging - Katrina Blair, Samuel Thayer

As a practicing forager, and weed protector, I would recommend an interview with Kristina Blair. She has written a wonderful book - The Wild Wisdom of Weeds and works to educate people on the value of wild foods. She has a great website - Turtle Lake Refuge.

Samuel Thayer is the author of numerous books on identifying and preparing wild foods and an amazing resource. His website is Forager's Harvest. I have been to one of his workshops and he has a lot to say about our interaction with the natural landscape - 'Foragers are the eyes and ears of the land'.
