L/L Research: Law of One
I’ve only recently discovered that the publishers of the Law of One materials, L/L research have a podcast where they address current events issues.
for those who don’t know about LoO, it’s a project initiated by three people Don Elkins, James McCarty and Carla Rueckert. From 1981-1984, Carla served as the channel from which Don Elkins was thought to have been communicating with an entity known as Ra. The resulting exchanges have been transcribed and published in a four-series book known as Law of One, referring to a ontological philosophy of universal connectedness at the cosmic scales. The books are available for free on their websites, including translated versions in many languages.
I’ve personally acquired the books few years ago, and have had a lot of synchronicities with them at the tim of reading. As a channelled material, some may rightfully be skeptical, but I deeply resonated with the various insights exchanged. The quality of the conversations can be quite challenging at times, all the while mind-expanding. It has definitely affected the way I interact with the world (hopefully in a positive way):)
I’m not aware of any THC episode delving deep, specifically into the teachings of the 4-boom channelings, so maybe this would be a good occasion.
Austin Bridges who is the current associate director of L/L would be a candidate, since I believe he also edits the podcast.

Started reading Living The Law of One 101: The Choice written by Carla Rueckert, which is a report of the process from her perspective, and a great overall summary of the Confederation’s principles such as unity, free will, love, light, polarity and chakras.
I enjoy how eloquent and poetic the descriptions are. For instance, on what densities of experiences are, she writes:
“the Confederation suggests that we are in the third grade of a seven-grade school of cosmic learning and service, moving to a completion called an “octave” of creation, where the whole process begins again from the harvest of the old, like the phoenix rising from the ashes. In this Confederation scheme, each octave contains seven “densities” or schools for learning and profression. We will discuss the densities in detail later in the book.” Chapter 1
NB: The confederacy refers to Ra, which refers to a group, rather than a particular individual, hence the term.
I found reading this makes for a great summary and overview of the ideas presented, and I’d highly recommend it to those who are new to the LoO as a primer, as it can get quite deep-in-the-bush esoteric to delve right in with the Ra Materials (which is how I first read, and it was great nonetheless).
They also seem to have released a new edition (2018) of Vol.1 &. Vol. 2 with slightly improved transcription. I haven’t checked it out yet.
One thing that was pointed out in a recent LoO podcast, was that Jim McCarty, one of the OGs of the group, has recently worked on an audiobook version of him reading the transcripts. He ended up doing it back to back a third time to nail down the right cadence, and apparently makes for a great reading companion. Dunno if that has been released or not (nor where).
😉
I’d be very curious if they’re still in touch with Ra/Confederacy to this day. While Don and Carla have passed away, I know James McCarthy has a blog he updates daily.
PS: some funny time synchronicities with both of these posts (and no, I didn't time it 🙂 )
