Roko's basilisk is a thought experiment about the potential risks involved in developing artificial intelligence. This assumes so many things: it assumes AI is inherently evil, will be able to time travel, and cannot be defeated. To boot, its not a guest, but a thought experiment. Maybe if Greg promises to help develop this AI, it will come back in time and do an interview right before it stomps the shit out of me for poo pooing the possibility of it could ever come about. But you know what? Fuck you, Skynet! (Yeah, I said it!).
