Just wanted to share that I also had a freebirth and although I did choose to get a bc for my baby (which I honestly was conflicted about) I know of many mothers who have sovereign babies without birth certificates. I can see there being some issues later on but I believe there are lawyers who have experience with this. Maybe join one of the unassisted birth groups on fb and ask for advice there. ‘Wild Pregnancy and Birth’ is a good one. If you are interested in going unassisted, HERBAL has a freebirth course that I found helpful, the book “home birth on your own terms” I found invaluable, and I highly recommend the freebirth society pod. Hello All, it's been a few years, but I wanted to come in and say I freebirthed a year and a half ago, and oh my gosh, I will never look back. Having my children involved with doctors, or myself, is an absolute no. The confidence and suggestions you all gave were 100% spot on, and I am sooooo grateful. This was amazingly life changing, and the most beautiful thing ever. 🙂
