@thecarlwood just one man's opinion, but I really like the songs!I love some, others are just ok. If you lose the songs, I will quit listening... lol. No, I won't. Do what you want. Your show is great!
I could see turning the volume down on the song a bit. It doesn't bother me, but I can't hear very well. And, again just one man's opinion, I wouldn't be put out to turn the songs up a notch... I usually do that anyway.

@wesleyhalcyon I like the song. The woman has a great voice. I think she sounds as good as adele, if not better... and that's a hard song to sing.
Most podcast apps have settings that let you skip a defined amount of time at the beginning or end of an episode. Maybe try this out?
Counterpoint- I think the covers are BETTER than the original in some cases. She has a great voice. Keep it up!
I'm having more of an issue with the new versions of the intro. Can we get a ska or death metal version, maybe a barbershop quartet version? Keep it interesting and odd rather than various pop styles? Not that this will ever be read.
