Well, I'm finally getting around to introducing myself after being a plus member for a little over a month.
I've been a huge fan of the free show for some time now, but when I hit a lottery ticket for a few hundred bucks back in July, I saw it as an opportunity to get a jump on my career plans, and also to give back to THC. You're the fucking man, Greg.
Keep fighting the good fight buddy.
I had considered joining the THC family last year, or at least sending an email or something to recommend a few show topics, but, to get weird right off the bat here, most or all my ideas were manifested as episodes almost immediately, including the one on Manifestation/Mentalism with Alain Nu.
Alain is a friend of mine, he lives near me and we had some of the same mentors, and I had no Idea he was going to be a THC guest. However, about 2 weeks before he was on, I thought to myself, a magician (performer) would make a great THC guest because of their insights into illusion and deception.
I am also a magician/juggler/fire eater/etc. who hails from Maryland. Just north of Baltimore, and not far from historic Gettysburg PA. Some strange energies flow around this area let me tell ya. Especially with the District of Columbia so close, and the underground bunkers inside the Appalachian mountains which are no secret to the local residents. My father even helped with the construction on at least 1 of them, as well as many other govt projects.
Anyhoo, to keep it short, I'm following my dream Just like our man The Carlwood. Even though I do get work as a performer, I still also have a "real job" 2 in fact, in retail and event planning.
I'm growing tired of the soul-sucking, 9-5 fucking slave paradigm, and in the next 12 months I'm working double time to throw off many of the chains that are holding me down, so that I can carve a new path to freedom and keep fighting the good fight as well.
