Hello from St Louis
Hey all! I've been a subscriber for several months but don't get on the forum too much. But I think I will more often. This show is so "heads and shoulders" above anything else out there, that I don't enjoy any other formats. So the forum could serve as a great quick fix while I wait for the next show. I've been into this "conspiritainment", as Greg aptly calls it, since the late 90's. Most of that time was spent with Coast. It took a long time before I admitted that I had long outgrown that rudimentary show. I do love the way Greg gets a hold of a topic and digs in for a while. It demonstrates the intention to truly explore and fully flesh out a topic from the point of view of multiple speakers. But the best part- the BEST part- is Greg's reflecting on the conversion. I mean- could you imagine such an honest and humble self assessment after some of these other shows?? It would be a joke! The other show I'm paying for now is Crow. His way of thinking is certainly on a far end of a spectrum, but it's balancing for me. It's so fun to revel in the cognitive dissonance that occurs when you hear about something for two hours with Greg, and it really gets your wheels turning. Then the next day, you get to suspend your belief in everything you used to take for granted. Thanks to Crow I don't BELIEVE anything I come across anymore. I simply take it in, shake it around to see what's inside, and store it away for later. Anyway, things are getting weirder and weirder faster and faster, just like they always said it would. What does it mean? I don't know. But it's so much fun to ride this train together.
