I found this group through someone I met on the Freedom cell network. It's in Norco, California and it's free. They do classes Monday and Wednesday night starting at 7:00 p.m.. Their goal is to produce small scale commercial farmers. It's completely free. And they've partnered with the City of Norco to get some property that we can practice on. It's an hour twice a week. A little bit of lecture and a lot of hands-on. They also are building a seed library and they have a farmers market on Thursday nights. Really good people. And again it's completely free. I'm not sure if they're on a grant or what, but in my first class last night I learned how to install a drip line on a grapevine. Some of the graduates have gone on to start their own mini farms. You can jump in at any time and if coming twice a week doesn't work you can just come once a week.
