Impossible roots
Worlds first Aeroponic harvest of plants larger than lettuce and rasberries is currently underway
Currently growing
Worlds smallest budding cannabis plant!
I took the top off a clone that was in my diy aero cloner and stuck it in the larger system. Two weeks later it has roots and has maintained the bud. Pretty cool!
day 21 of flower in all aeroponic grow. next week will add in the living soil to boost the last 4-5 weeks. Ideally that would have been done from transplanting into the larger system, but I am on a budget due to some recent set backs. Happy to field questions if anyone is curious.
Day 28 of flower
Living soil hasn't arrived yet so please take into account this is the worst the system will ever do. Ah well. They turned the corner this week and are ready to stack weight and trichs.
day 35
Just added the living soil and am foliar feeding with compost tea. Fun fact, the largest cola is on the middle plant and is plumping to be the size of a two liter bottle. The roots are 99% suspended in air, the other two have 50% in reservoir. It could easily stretch them down to hit the reservoir, but has only sent a few feeders down... Next run I'll keep them to two cola's and fill out the whole system. Can it put out gallon size cola's?
Day 42
Overfed and mute locked them for a few days and they got a little pissed but back on the mend for the end of this week. Starting to fatten up and lower frost is looking crazy already
Last week of nutes and they will be cut and hung next Wednesday. Really good results accounting for the lack of a full spectrum nutrient program, no co2, Amazon lights, and a terrible environment.
Well... Ran into bud rot due to temps frosting over and not being able to get good air exchanges ( also over misting but mostly environment ). Despite that the largest producer was the blueberry scone which hit 6oz mostly dry but still curing a bit. 4oz with minor bud rot but enough that I discarded.I can now say that at 4oz per site that is a minimum dry yield under correct conditions with CO2 and all the other implements I did not have for this run. That puts a 5,000sq.ft. facility selling $1000/lb to wholesale market gross revenue at $3.6mil per facility. That could be set up easily for under $1.5M for a state of the art facility and ROI of under 6 months ... ...
I'll post potency and cbd profile when I get them tested but this round was just for proof of concept/prototype/yield. Looks to be mid 20%'s easily.
All the best to everyone
