NM Nuclear Museum Image
Interesting
Absolutely!!
Safe nuclear waste !!! aaauuugghhhh
I guess the concept is that they want us to imagine that deadly stuff as far away as possible.
I like this visual 😀

The scenarios for a pole shift, CME, or other event where nuclear plants aren't properly decommissioned are not good for the northern hemisphere. The lack of nuclear power in the southern hemisphere and largely separate air flow between the hemispheres is an advantage if the world goes dark. We seriously need a moratorium on fission. I am sure that the radiation can be neutralized using etheric tech as Wilhelm Reich did some early research that caused a small amount of radiation to be neutralized. It would have to be done carefully as that experiment started the terrible DOR condition at Organon which lingered until he used the cloudbuster to restore the surrounding area. That's when he began to see the UFOs it attracted.

They do that in Japan with Fukushima as well. Storing contamined soil to build public highways, and even, to build playground at schools.
Such a "wtf" moment. But as you pointed out, there are many techs already available to clean-up radioactive contaminants.
The most recent one I can come across is Paul Stamet's work in relation to myco-remediation, and how certain fungi are especially suited for certain types of radioactive waste, thriving on caesium (or oil-spills).
The mushies will then be harvested, incinerated and ashes collected to avoid air-pollution. It's a low-cost-low-tech method that could potentially solve the soil contamination.

We may lack the nuclear power plants in the southern hemisphere but we don't lack the waste!!

It looks like the various pushes for international storage sites in Australia have failed so far, but I was surprised to see two plants on this list. One from the sixties which lies abandoned and a small research-sized plant which still operates today. Still, much better than the States and many other developed countries. The largest concern related to this would seem to be uranium mines.
