The Men That Don't Fit In
The Men That Don't Fit In
By Robert W. Service
Source: The Spell of the Yukon, and Other Verses (1911)
There's a race of men that don't fit in,
A race that can't stay still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
And they roam the world at will.
They range the field and they rove the flood,
And they climb the mountain's crest;
Theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood,
And they don't know how to rest.
If they just went straight they might go far;
They are strong and brave and true;
But they're always tired of the things that are,
And they want the strange and new.
They say: "Could I find my proper groove,
What a deep mark I would make!"
So they chop and change, and each fresh move
Is only a fresh mistake.
And each forgets, as he strips and runs
With a brilliant, fitful pace,
It's the steady, quiet, plodding ones
Who WIN in the lifelong race.
And each forgets that his youth has fled,
Forgets that his prime is past,
'Till he stands one day, with a hope that's dead,
In the glare of the truth at last.
He has failed, he has failed; he has missed his chance;
He has just done things by half.
Life's been a jolly good joke on him,
And now is the time to laugh.
HA,HA! He is one of the Legion Lost;
He was never meant to win;
He's a rolling stone, and it's bred in the bone;
He's a man who won't fit in.

Now coming to the stage is someone you are beginning to know ,performing a piece called...
A Dreamer With Some Cash
by: JAMIE ESPY
You talk and you talk until your face is blue,
You put all that effort in and STILL,noone has the slightest clue..
You bust your ass learning those new apps, log hours away from home
Your spouse starts whaling at you, " HEY, E.T. PHONE HOME!"
The years roll by and you keep your pace, remaining loyal to your craft,
Then suddenly, one day - it happens, Your Life Becomes A Raft;
Floating Down The Nile of Success, you start to earn a little dough,
A bonafide threat you can now become,while smoking on some hash..
Because NOTHING in the Universe Could Be More Dangerous,
Than A Dreamer With Some Cash

You talk & you talk
until your face is blue;
putting all that effort in,
You bust your ass learning those new apps;
Logging hours in on Chrome;
You neglect your dear spouse in your passionate pursuit...
" Hey ET! Phone Home!!!"
But The years roll by and you've kept your pace;
remaining loyal to your craft,
Then suddenly, one day - it happens, Splash!
Your Life Becomes A Raft;
Floating Robustly Down The Nile of Happy,
you start to earn some $erious dough,
A bonadfide threat you can now become;
all while smoking on some 'Dro
Just where will you put your jedi time;
Inquiring Minds are watching,they all want to know,
Because NOTHING in the Multi-verse
Could Be More Dangerous,
Than A Dreamer
With $ome Cash,

Mad Girl's Love Song
I shut my eyes & all the world drops dead,
I lift my lids and all is born again,
(I think I made you up inside my head)
The stars go waltzing out in blue & red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in,
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead,
(I think I made you up inside my head)
I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed,
And sung me moon-struck,kissed me quite insane,
(I think I made you up inside my head)
God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade,
Exit Seraphim and Satan's men;
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead,
(I think I made you up inside my head)
I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old & I forget your name,
(I think I made you up inside my head)
I should have loved a Thunderbird instead,
At least when Spring comes,they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
Damn,was I wrong about that FB group!
Conjure with a Dude one night then CRUCIFY him the next.
You fickle,lukewarm faux-fans de-serve what you get.
