Hey Greg,
This past Friday my wife and I weren't feeling well. We were suffering from what we could easily explain as bad allergies or sinus issues. Which in itself isn't a red flag since the pollen count has been high here in NY, but it was more severe than normal with my wife having migraines. If that were it, I probably wouldn't be writing to you, but this past Saturday night I went to bed and had one of the most visual dreams I've had in a long time.
I use to dream a lot and sometimes very vivid. After telling my wife of these, she started calling them my blockbuster movie dreams. They were always in color and very realistic. Some dreams would stay with me for days, and often thinking they actually happened, but since taking Trazadone for the last six years for sleep issues, I stopped having these dreams. It helps me have sound sleep since my brain is always running like a Bitcoin farming computer. This caused me to get little or no sleep. Trazadone is not like other big pharma sleep drugs which make you have those dreams of sitting at the kitchen table having a conversation with President Lincoln and a beaver. It was originally prescribed for depression decades ago, but like some drugs, they start off doing one thing and then they find out that they do something else better. (see Viagra) The reason for this lengthy explanation is that I don't want you or others to think that what I'm going to describe was just an ambient dream. That this type of dream is very uncommon for me now and I didn’t make the connection till today.

The dream started out with my wife and parents walking outside going somewhere possibly to our car or down the block. I hear my dad say to me “Look at the Moon”. I look up at what seemed like random explosions all over the face of the moon. Then I see a big explosion and the moon splits in half from the top-down cracking off like a jagged piece of concrete. I watch as it floats out of orbit as the rest of the moon just crumbles like a cookie. Then I watch pieces start to burn in the atmosphere as they fall towards Earth. I see massive explosions on the horizon as the pieces crash. Then like watching a camera try to focus on a motorcycle head light, a blurry moon tries to reappear, jumping all over the sky like amateur UFO footage. From what I can remember the rest of the dream is just my family running and searching for a safe place to wait out the event. The only other part that stayed with me was what I can only assume was the death of something or someone in the street, and a child is consoling it. I couldn’t see what it was since it was blocked by the child kneeling over it. I bent down to comfort the child and then looked up at the sky to see the moon dust and particles raining down like snow or ash. Then what seemed like a meteor. This streak of light coming right towards the child and I. This orange glowing rock bounces feet from us on the street and like a golf chip shot, it lands on whatever the child was protecting. A bright white light pulses out from it and blinds me. I get up and see what I can only describe is how in Japanese Anime they show motion leading up to a massive explosion, as I look around all I see it the mountains and landscape on the horizon explode upward from the earth in a bright white light. I believe that’s when I woke up, but I'm really not sure.

I can't seem to remember if I heard this from one of the Podcasts with Croww or if it was somewhere else, but I thought that someone had mentions feeling sick and having dreams on or around the spring or fall equinox. Like I said, I didn’t make the connection until today. My dreams when I did have them, were usually about what was going on in my life. It’s your subconscious trying to sort out your issues while sleeping. I have no idea why after so long I would have such a vivid dream, and about the moon, and on the first day of spring. I don’t know; maybe I’m jumping to conclusions, but I vaguely remember you talking about this? Please let me know if I’m right or if you had heard of this before. This dream has stayed with me since Sunday. It’s such a weird feeling. I can’t shake it. Things like this never really happen to me. I’ve never seen a ghost or UFO or stumbled upon a secret military base. I think this is why I was concerned. It just makes no sense that I would dream of the moon.

Thanks for your ear.
