Dear Higherside chatters,

I know it may wiser to tune out of any electronic devices these days, perhaps especially our cellphones. Having said that, I am often intrigued by the possibilities offered by our devices. I wonder if an increased understanding of how our consciousness and universe works can be used in conjunction with technology.

This is very much related to the field of psychotronics and in particular things like random-number generators that can be affected to some extent by our minds. I am curious if anyone had any cool suggestions in this field. I have a couple that I should point out below.

1. PsiSpy - iOS (Free)
This is a pretty cool, simple app that is designed for remote viewing. When you start the game, an unknown 'target' image has been selected and you have to use your psi abilities (remote-viewing) and try to draw the image. It's very simple, yet quite effective. I was quite shocked at times but the results. I don't take it too seriously but who knows, it could help me sharpen my psi skills. Here are a few sample results. (tips: take a few deep breaths and capture whatever comes to mind.)

2. Entangled - iOS (unreleased)

This one is unreleased yet and probably the most promising app to come in this field. Designed by Adam Curry and the Instituge of Noetic Sciences (IONS), it's a phone-based platform to try and assess the effects of users' consciousness on a random-number generator and try to map out certain patterns.
Can't wait for this.

3 - CE-5 Contact app - $6.99
Developed by Dr Steven Greer's Sirius disclosure group to facilitate contact with non-human intelligence. App is pretty cool and includes some recorded meditations, as well as sounds and even sensors like a magnetometer to measure your environment's magnetic field using the phone's sensor.
