The movie had been set up as a documentary and sometimes it simply drags along. IMHO, It is not a great movie to watch ...
However, I was bewildered by the choice of themes incorporated:
- Formless Entities from another planet or a "void"
- Transhumanism
- NASA
- Breakaway Civilisation on Earth #2
- Mankind not able to take care of its own planet
The Entities are supposed to stem form another planet, although they are supposed to watch us all the time, indicating multidimensional abilities.
Transhumanism is gained by placing brains in artificial bodies.
NASA moves the story along and finally saves the day.
The Entities finally gift us a second planet in our solar system, as mankind pollutes its own planet and is also overpopulating.
I guess the movie makes sometimes use of old footage, especially when an astronaut capsule us landing in the ocean. But in this scene it clearly depicts a military vessel taking the astronauts on board. It is military, as the walls of the ship are at an angle suitable to deflects bullets. This made me wonder: how could such a low budget production got their hands on such a ship 😉
Yesterday I was wondering that the movie may be a documentary, although disguised as a documentary 😉
