47 - Controlled opposition in the JFK assassination

11 - "The decision to include culture and art in the US Cold War arsenal was taken as soon as the CIA was founded in 1947. Dismayed at the appeal communism still had for many intellectuals and artists in the West, the new agency set up a division, the Propaganda Assets Inventory, which at its peak could influence more than 800 newspapers, magazines and public information organisations. They joked that it was like a Wurlitzer jukebox: when the CIA pushed a button it could hear whatever tune it wanted playing across the world.” Frances Stonor Saunders

10 - The CIA was created by Harry Truman in 1947

12 - The Nazi roots of the ruling class (Operation Paperclip)

10 - Were people asking questions about the Nazification of America?

22 - Ray’s thoughts on Eisenhower

35 - The assassination of Dag Hammarskjold (Operation Celeste) & Ray’s thoughts on JFK

48 - Indonesian mineral deposit & oil

44 - The CIA overthrows the democratically elected Sukarno with a military coup (“if you’re not with us you’re against us”)

33 - CIA list of atrocities & Ray’s thoughts on the logistics of the ruling class

18 - The CIA as a tool of the ruling class & the Neo-Darwinian-Malthusianism “religion” of the ruling class

21 - The Obama family connection to the Indonesian genocide (Wayne Madsen)

10 - The CIA & the Drug Trade by James Corbett ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcp9bcypZo4)

24 - Hillary explains the real meaning of '1984' in her new book & Guiliani's quote: "What we don't see is that freedom is not a concept in which people can do anything they want, be anything they can be. Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do." - Giuliani ( http://nyti.ms/2hkjVfC)

00 - Ray’s read on the current political climate

25 - Ray’s general thoughts on Trump

55 - "I think [creation of the CIA] was a mistake. And if I'd know what was going to happen, I never would have done it." "Why, they've got an organization over there in Virginia now that is practically the equal of the Pentagon in many ways. And I think I've told you, one Pentagon is one too many.” "Now, as nearly as I can make out, those fellows in the CIA don't just report on wars and the like, they go out and make their own, and there's nobody to keep track of what they're up to. They spend billions of dollars on stirring up trouble so they'll have something to report on. They've become... it's become a government all of its own and all secret. They don't have to account to anybody.” - Truman

Hi Hugh, I follow Ray Peat as well. He is so low profile and high depth that most of my online contacts have not heard of him, let alone read his newsletters. Having lived on this earth for so long, he has a lot of great analyses to offer on health and metabolic fitness. I have put a lot of his advice into practice, particularly avoiuding PUFAs. How about you?

Four and a half years now. I doubt I'd be alive without him, and I certainly would not be very functional. I would also be highly authoritarian, as independent and open thought requires a lot of energy. It's been a ride.

I would suggest testing gelatin, carrot salad, blood donation and eggshell calcium. Easy stuff that can make a huge difference.
